The Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) regulations in Switzerland

The recent sharp rise in Bitcoin prices has suddenly put media spotlight on cryptocurrencies, and, to some extent, on the underlying technology behind digital currencies: the blockchain technology. This heightened media coverage has not only crawled out this technology from more or less confidential circles of mathematical problems enthusiasts and cryptographers, but has also fuelled a new craze for the development of a multitude of projects dependent on this technology. At the same time, the question of legal support (and even legal framework) of the aforesaid trend has taken on a significance that it did not have a few months ago.
