The recent sharp rise in Bitcoin prices has suddenly put media spotlight on cryptocurrencies, and, to some extent, on the underlying technology behind digital currencies: the blockchain technology. This heightened media coverage has not only crawled out this technology from more or less confidential circles of mathematical problems enthusiasts and cryptographers, but has also fuelled a new craze for the development of a multitude of projects dependent on this technology. At the same time, the question of legal support (and even legal framework) of the aforesaid trend has taken on a significance that it did not have a few months ago.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
